Baked Pork Chops (Mom’s)

4 pork chops

1 can cream of mushroom soup

½ c sour cream

¼ c water

2 T chopped parsley

2 c thinly sliced potatoes

salt and pepper, to taste

Heat oven to 375°.  Brown chops in frying pan.  Remove.  Blend in pan:  sour cream, soup, water and parsley.  In 2 qt casserole – alternate potatoes with sauce and top with browned chops.  Cover and bake 1 ¼ hours.
