Sweet Potatoes (mashed and grilled)

2-3 large yams (orange sweet potatoes)

Brown sugar

White sugar

Butter

Pecans

Option 1

Bake yams as you would a bake potato.  Once cooked scoop-out the guts into a bowl and mash.  Add lots of butter/margarine.  Add loads of sugar preferablly brown sugar.  Once it is sweetened to your liking mix in crushed pecans.

Option 2

Cube yams and remove skin, by cutting off with knife.  Boil and prepare as you would, mash potatoes. Add lots of butter/margarine.  Add loads of sugar preferablly brown sugar.  Once it is sweetened to your liking mix in crushed pecans.

Option 3

Cube yams and remove skin, by cutting off with knife.  Place in tin foil add lots of butter and brown sugar.  Fold tin foil to make a packet.  Place on grill for 30 –40 minutes or until tender.
